Forced Reset Triggers
You most likely have the same question in mind that others have. "Aren't machine guns illegal?" The answer to that question is "YES", unless you have a special license you can not own a machine gun. But, how the ATF describes a machine gun is different from what you see or will see here. ATF says, only a single round can leave the weapon with a single pull of the weapon's trigger. If more than one round leaves the weapon with a single pull of the trigger, then the weapon is considered illegal and classified as a "Machine Gun". It's as simple as that.
Forced Reset Triggers do exactly the opposite of what the ATF says in order for it to be classified as a "Machine" gun. With a Forced Reset Trigger, the trigger is automatically reset, moved forward while the expended round is removed and a new round is inserted into the chamber, then the trigger is again moved in a rearward motion with the help of your trigger finger to fire that round, then moved forward again to eject the spent round and while the next round is inserted (loaded) the trigger is automatically set to fire the next round. This explains the name, "FORCED RESET TRIGGER" or "FRT".
Since the trigger is moved forward and the shooter has to repeat the motion of pulling the trigger rearward to fire the next round, it is considered, by the ATF, to be a legal firearm.
Click the VIDEO link below to watch the short video to see a demonstration of what an FRT will do. The FRT can be added to most any Mil-Spec lower assembly in the AR format. You can select from three different positions with your selector switch. (the safety). You can choose either "SEMI", "SAFE", or "FRT". An FRT can be installed into your AR15 Mil-Spec Lower for the price of $500.00. That would include all the parts and labor. We would need your AR for about 24 to 36 hours to complete and test the installation.
